Yoga programs, randomized controlled trials, data analysis, study design, psychological factors, statistical evaluation, alternative therapies, Checklist for Standardizing the Reporting of Yoga and Complementary Therapies Interventions, Consolidated Standards for Reporting Trials, Bias Risk, and Trial Quality
Researchers' interest in examining how yoga affects different medical issues and enhances an otherwise healthy population's overall health is steadily growing. Although the advantages have already been demonstrated by several research, incorporating yoga into conventional contemporary medicine is still a ways off. The main explanation is the low calibre of yoga research experiments. As a result, the important difficulties that need to be addressed in order to enhance randomized controlled studies in yoga research are covered. The gold standard for assessing the effectiveness of actions including yoga initiatives, is randomized controlled trials (RCTs). However, RCTs can be complicated, and errors can jeopardize both the reliability and validity of the results. This study focuses on statistical examination and psychological factors for identifying common errors in RCTs for yoga initiatives. We reviewed the literature and examined data from prior RCTs to identify oversights in study design, collecting information, and statistical analysis. According to my accomplishments, psychological issues like participant expectancies and biases must be carefully taken into account, and reliable statistical techniques are required to take these elements into account. Researchers may create and carry out more thorough RCTs and, in the end, produce more accurate and trustworthy data on the advantages of yoga efforts by being aware of these typical errors.
