The rapid advancement of digital technology has driven the need for comprehensive innovation in higher education, particularly in curriculum design, teaching methodologies, training formats, and assessment practices. Among these, the innovation of teaching methods is regarded as a key solution to enhance instructional quality. Currently, two modern pedagogical approaches—Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the Flipped Classroom (FC) model—are highly valued for their potential to foster learners' self-directed learning, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills. This study was conducted to apply and evaluate the effectiveness of implementing integrated PBL using the FC model in teaching Microsoft PowerPoint content in the introductory Informatics course at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, Thai Nguyen University, Viet Nam (TUAF). This content has practical significance for students of Agriculture and Forestry majors, however, current teaching is still technical in nature and lacks connection with the professional context. Building upon integrated instructional models proposed in prior research, this study addresses two key questions: (1) How can the integrated model be applied to teaching Microsoft PowerPoint content? and (2) To what extent does the model impact students' learning activities? The findings of this study contribute to validating the feasibility and pedagogical effectiveness of the integrated approach in the context of digital education.
