Abstract

Evaluating, Vocational, Job Skill, Employment & Intellectual Disabilities Etc
This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of vocational guidance in enhancing job-related skills and employment outcomes for adolescents with intellectual disability (ID). The purpose is to examine whether targeted vocational guidance can improve the acquisition of employable skills, increase job readiness, and ultimately lead to successful employment outcomes for this marginalized group. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods. A sample of 100 adolescents with ID will be randomly assigned to either a vocational guidance intervention group or a control group. The intervention group will receive individualized vocational guidance, job skills training, and employment support, while the control group will receive standard career counseling services. Data will be collected at pre-intervention, post-intervention, and six-month follow-up stages using standardized assessments, surveys, and interviews. The study's primary outcomes include job-related skills acquisition, employment rates, and job satisfaction. The findings of this study will contribute to the development of evidence-based vocational guidance programs tailored to the needs of adolescents with ID, ultimately enhancing their employability and promoting inclusive employment opportunities.
