Abstract This study investigated the student teacher’s attitude towards techno-pedagogical skills and their use of digital learning tools. Quantitative data were collected from 150 student teachers in the Tiruchirappalli District using structured questionnaire with sections on demographics, digital tool usage, and techno-pedagogical attitude. Participants were selected through stratified random sampling technique including 60 male, 90 female, and an equal number of first- and second-year students from Arts and Science groups. Statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics, ‘t’-tests, and Pearson's correlation coefficient, revealed that female student teachers had significantly more positive attitudes than males mean while no significant difference was observed between first- and second-year student teacher .Science student teacher had positive attitude than the arts student teacher. A positive correlation was found between attitudes and the frequency of digital tool integration in teaching practice. The result highlights the importance of fostering diverse and frequent use of digital tools to enhance techno-pedagogical skills.
