Silver recovery, X-ray films, gelatin hydrolysis, Borax (Na2B4O7.10H2O)
In recent years, enzymatic methods using microbial proteases are being used as alternatives method instead of burning and oxidation methods of silver recovery from X-ray films. But this process is not competitive according to today’s advance technologies.
