Abandoned, background subtraction, foreground detection, backtracking, surveillance, luggage owners, temporal transition
The abnormal event is abandoning of luggage/bag by a person. The approach is based on background subtraction and backtracking algorithm. At the same static foreground detection i.e abandoned object is indicated using LCD and buzzer.
