Abstract

Natural language Processing
Text similarity, natural language processing, Probabilistic Classifiers, Rule-based Classifiers, Decision Tree Classifiers, Corpus-based Approach, Dictionary-based Approach
Text similarity measurement compares the text with available references to indicate the similarity between those objects. Many studies of text similarity have resulted in various approaches and algorithms. This paper investigates two major text similarity measurement approaches, which include Machine learning & Lexical Based approach. The main target of this survey is to give a nearly full image of text similarity measurement techniques and the related fields with brief details.
