In this article, we study the improvement of the understanding of the processes of erosion and damage of natural (mangrove, cliff) or anthropogenic (dykes, ports, jetties) coastal structures by swells in shallow water. The results of simulations of waves of height 1 m and wavelength varying from 0 to 10 m, depth varying from 0 to 12 m, show that the minimum and maximum speeds of the waves are respectively 0.9810 m.s-1 and 4.7194 m.s- 1. The dynamic pressure of the impact of waves on the coastline is 252.4 kPa. At the time of impact, the value of the pressure force is equal to 2.4 104 kN and the coastal morphology variation varies from 0 to 1.1 10-3 m.s-1, this value makes minimum erosion per day on average in time varies from 0 to 10 seconds and the coastal morphology variation on average varies about 0 to 1 meter per year.
