स्वतंत्रता संग्राम, जनजातीय योगदान, झारखंड, आदिवासी विद्रोह
झारखंड की आदिवासी जनजातियों ने भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। ब्रिटिश शासन और सामंती व्यवस्था के खिलाफ संघर्षरत इन जनजातियों ने अपनी सांस्कृतिक और सामाजिक पहचान को बनाए रखने के लिए लगातार विद्रोह किया। संथाल विद्रोह (1855-56), मुंडा विद्रोह (1899-1900), कोल विद्रोह (1831-32), और ताना भगत आंदोलन (1914-1920) जैसे प्रमुख आदिवासी आंदोलनों ने न केवल ब्रिटिश शासन को चुनौती दी, बल्कि सामंती और जमींदारी व्यवस्था के शोषण के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई। इन विद्रोहों का उद्देश्य केवल राजनीतिक स्वतंत्रता नहीं था, बल्कि आदिवासी भूमि, संसाधनों और सांस्कृतिक पहचान की रक्षा करना भी था। बिरसा मुंडा जैसे महान नेता ने अपने नेतृत्व में न केवल आदिवासी समाज को संगठित किया, बल्कि उन्हें सांस्कृतिक और धार्मिक पुनरुत्थान की दिशा में भी प्रेरित किया। उनके नेतृत्व में मुंडा विद्रोह ब्रिटिश नीतियों और मिशनरी गतिविधियों के खिलाफ एक महत्वपूर्ण संघर्ष बना। इसी तरह, सिद्धू और कान्हू मुर्मू के नेतृत्व में संथालों ने ब्रिटिश अधिकारियों और जमींदारों के शोषण के खिलाफ सशस्त्र विद्रोह किया। इन विद्रोहों में शामिल जनजातीय नेताओं ने स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन को एक नई दिशा दी और आदिवासी समाज में स्वतंत्रता और स्वायत्तता की भावना को प्रबल किया। इन आंदोलनों का प्रभाव स्थानीय स्तर पर ही नहीं, बल्कि राष्ट्रीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन पर भी पड़ा। झारखंड की जनजातियों के संघर्ष ने ब्रिटिश सरकार को भूमि अधिकार और आदिवासी संरक्षण से संबंधित कई सुधारों को लागू करने पर मजबूर किया, जिससे स्वतंत्रता के बाद आदिवासी अधिकारों के लिए एक मजबूत नींव तैयार हुई।
