Abstract

Brand Awareness, Beauty Product Ingredients, Influence, Social media, types of skin.
This research was conducted to have a better understanding of college students' perceptions of beauty product ingredients. Influencers and social media marketing use different kinds of strategies to attract their followers to purchase those products. In the day-to-day age, when everything is done online, social media is best. In this research, a student's awareness level will be checked related to beauty product ingredients and how it affects the purchasing decisions of college students. And also how social media factors in. Companies like Nykaa,lakme,sugar etc,and other brands' products have been affected by influencers' opinions on their products and also the understanding of college students' knowledge about the products and the chemicals/ingredients. In this, primary and secondary methods will be used, and quantitative methods will be used. In this research, the users between the ages of 18 and 34 will be taken to see how their opinion has been changed by following social media applications and influencers. The purpose is that influencers, also referred to as opinion leaders, share their attitudes and experiences with brands in order to impact consumers. Therefore, it is necessary to define the fundamentals such as brand, brand image, brand awareness, ingredients, and chemicals. Different tools and methods will be used, like questionnaires, data analysis etc. Influencer marketing is an effective way to increase brand awareness among customers through influencers.
