This phenomenological and qualitative research focuses on the experiences, challenges, strategies, insights, and the development of a comprehensive action plan by selected Filipino teachers of La Filipina National High School regarding the implementation of the Adventure Camp. The participating teachers expressed various experiences and challenges they faced in carrying out this program. They shared their experiences in preparing for the event, conducting activities, coordinating with parents, and addressing the difficulties in implementing the Adventure Camp. The results revealed that despite challenges such as limited time, lack of materials, and insufficient funding, the teachers still experienced joy, personal fulfillment, and meaningful connections with students. The support of the school administration and the cooperation of the parents also emerged as significant factors in the successful implementation of the program. The participants also described the strategies they employed to overcome obstacles, such as adapting methods like peer reading. Lastly, they expressed the lessons they learned from these experiences, which deepened their love for the teaching profession and encouraged them to become more creative and resourceful in further enhancing the implementation of the Adventure Camp as an interactive and effective strategy for developing reading skills.
