The purpose of this research was to explore and understand the experiences, motivation, provision of support and resources, and recognition practices of Scout Coordinators at implementing scouting programs under the Department of Education at Montevista District, Davao de Oro. Using a phenomenological approach, in-depth interviews with six Scout Coordinators were conducted to examine key themes related to personal transformation, institutional support, student development impact, and recognition. Findings revealed that coordinators were motivated by intrinsic values, passion for youth development, and personal fulfillment, while also gaining enhanced leadership and time management skills. Despite this, they faced recurring challenges such as limited financial resources, inconsistent administrative support, and lack of systematic recognition. Participants emphasized the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and emotional resilience, underscoring their commitment to character formation and community service. Their experiences also revealed the need for institutionalized support mechanisms, structured recognition systems, and sustained training to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of scouting leadership. Recommendations focused on strengthening multi-level stakeholder collaboration, improving policy implementation, and integrating scouting more formally into leadership development frameworks within schools. The study highlighted the transformative potential of scouting coordination in shaping values-driven educators and youth leaders in the Philippine education system.
