Abstract

Propeller Shaft, Natural Frequency, Fast Fourier Transform, ANSYS
This papers presents the work related to the vibration analysis of propeller shaft. The aim of this study is to express relation between modal natural frequencies change due to availability of crack in shaft with respective crack parameters like Location, Depth and Width. Experimental results are taken with the help of FFT analyzer. Analysis is done by using these results and finally these results are validated in DEWE software. In this paper the validated results are again compared with FEA done on ANSYS results with the help of graphs
