The effectiveness of stakeholder engagement and School-Based Management (SBM) plays a vital role in determining the success or failure of educational institutions. This study explored the level of stakeholder involvement and the implementation of SBM in the public schools of Laak South District, with the aim of identifying their predictive relationship to key school performance indicators such as enrollment, repetition, completion, and graduation rates. The research was conducted in five secondary schools Mabuhay National High School, Kilagding National High School, Kapatagan National High School, Laak National High School, and San Antonio National High School with a total of 302 respondents, including school heads, teachers, PTA officers, and barangay officials. Purposive and universal sampling techniques was used. Data collection utilized and pilot-tested Likert-scale questionnaires adapted and validated. Statistical tools such as mean, Pearson r, and regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The study revealed that relationship between Stakeholders’ Engagement, School-Based Management (SBM) implementation, and school performance indicators such as dropout, repetition, completion, graduation, and cohort survival rates revealed not statistically significant overall. However, cohort survival, which showed significance in relation to stakeholder engagement suggests that while SBM and stakeholder involvement may positively influence school outcomes, particularly student retention, their impact is not conclusive without further in-depth interventions and contextual support.
