Transportation cost can be effectively reduced by pooling a bike instead of a car. There are various carpooling systems designed by the various vendors and authors. But the cost and time consumed by these systems is large. Also, these systems are not preferable to the students, because of their heavy cost. The algorithms used for carpooling systems are somewhat complicated. So here in this paper, we are designing a new system called as ‘BIKE POOLING’ or ‘BIKE SAHRING SYSTEM’. The functionality uses previous knowledge in carpooling system. In this paper, we are going to pool a bike instead of a car. As we are pooling a bike, our emphasis is on reducing both the time and cost. The main drawback of the carpooling is that it is not useful to the students, employees who travel daily, due to the cost. As in our system the cost will be effectively reduced because it’s a bike. The algorithm used in our system is simple and easy to understand. In this system, various features are introduced like fake user/biker blocking, extreme care taken for female drivers & female users, etc. We are trying to solve various other issues like increasing traffic congestion in large cities.
