Abstract
MIRA (Multimodal Intelligent Robotic Assistant) is a Raspberry Pi-based robotic system designed to provide interactive communication, obstacle detection, and information access through multiple input and output methods. The system uses a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ as its main processing unit. It integrates voice input and output, a touchscreen interface, a predefined question-and-answer database, QR code generation, and camera-based monitoring. Four HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors are used to detect obstacles in the front, back, left, and right directions. A motor driver controls the robot's four motors to support movement. Speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies enable interaction between users and the robot. The system also provides faculty information, announcement features, and a web-based interface for monitoring and remote control. The proposed design combines embedded systems, robotics, and multimodal human-robot interaction to develop an interactive robotic assistant for educational and institutional environments.
