Abstract

Electrical Engineering
Harmonics, Low tuned filter, Voltage Source inverter, SVPWM, PI Controller, Total Harmonics Distortion.
As harmonics and interharmonics present in the power line which causes poor performance of the dynamic loads. and also affecting the life of the equipment. In this Project, we implemented a hybrid combination of low tuned filters and state space vector pulse width modulation techniques to overcome the problem introduce in the power line. State vector algorithm of PWM is very easier to digital which has higher modulation range, small current harmonics distortion , a small fluctuation in torque with low noise. In addition to this, low tuned filter is designed to mitigate the harmonics and that will satisfy IEEE 519 standard. The model is discussed based on the space vector pulsewidth modulation using PI Controller and low tuned filter. The overall process of this project simulated using MATLAB/Simulink environment for the better effectiveness for the study.
