Parental Involvement, Academic Achievement, Higher Secondary School Students
This research aims to examine the relationship between parental involvement and academic achievement in higher secondary school students. Survey method was employed and the investigator used stratified random sampling technique. The study was conducted on a sample of 100 students of XI class selected from rural and urban schools of Umaria District in Madhya Pradesh. The Parental Involvement Scale developed by Dr.Vijaya Laxmi Chouhan and Mrs. Gunjan Ganotra Arora was used. The academic achievement was gauged by the result of their 10th grade annual examination. The results showed that there was significant relationship between parental involvement and academic achievement of students.
